Adding a group
Adding and configuring a ZODB Group Manager
Click on the the acl_users folder link in the ZMI of your Silva site (Fig. 1.).

Once you’re in the acl_users folder you will see a drop down on the right.
Select "ZODB Group Manager" from the drop down list.
Click the Add button (Fig. 2.).

You will now see a form for adding a ZODB Group Manager.
Fill in all required fields and click the Add button (Fig. 3.).

Adding a group into the ZODB Group Manager
Go into the ZODB Group Manager you just created.
After the Current Groups title there is a link called Add a group.
Click on the Add a group link (Fig. 4.).

After clicking the link you will get a form for adding a Group.
Fill in the form fields and click the Add Group button (Fig. 5.).

Assigning users to a group
Go into a Group you created.
After the "Update Group: <groupname>" title there is a link called Assign.
Click the Assign link (Fig. 6.).

You will then see a form with a search box on top and 2 columns named Available and Active (Fig. 7.).
Search for users by filling in a Principal ID and clicking the Search button.
Select users from the Available list that you want to assign to the group (Fig. 7.).
Click the arrow pointing to the right to move the selected users to the Active list.

Removing users from a group
In a group click the Assign link (Fig. 6.).
Select the user(s) from the Active list which you want to remove from the group.
Click the arrow pointing to the left to remove the selected users from the Active list and add them to the Available list (Fig. 8.).

Updating and activating a group
Click to the Activate tab (Fig. 9.).
You will see a form with the the options Groups and Group_Enumeration.
Select those options.
Click the Update button to activate the Groups (Fig. 9.).
